Introduction

This is a recipe my husband likes to make. I'm not sure where he came up with it, but it's pretty darn tasty! This is a recipe my husband likes to make. I'm not sure where he came up with it, but it's pretty darn tasty!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 portobello mushroom caps (approximately 3.5 oz apiece)
    1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
    2 Tbsp olive oil
    1 tsp basil, dried
    1 tsp oregano, dried
    1 Tbsp garlic, minced
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper, herbs, and garlic. Marinate mushroom caps in mixture for at least 15 minutes.

Grill portabellas for at least 5 minutes on each side or until tender. Serve plain or on a bun.

Makes 2 one-cap servings.

    This recipe is so simple I would never imagined how good it taste I found this recipe through google under "burgers" but I never eat it with buns and it doesn't need anything extra its good as it. - 10/25/13
