Introduction

Great way to add a little protein to the diet and enjoy the taste of brownies without all the guilt. These gluten-free waffles will let you have your cake and eat it, too. I like these with fresh bananas and raw agave nectar. Great way to add a little protein to the diet and enjoy the taste of brownies without all the guilt. Ingredients

    1 cup Soy Flour
    1/2 cup dry Cocoa
    1/2 cup Quick Cooking Oats
3 tbsp Chocolate Rice Protein powder
    4 tsp Stevita
    3 tsp EnerG Egg Replacer
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 cup Chocolate Soymilk
    3/4 cup All Natural Applesauce
    1/4 cup canola oil
    1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat waffle iron to medium/hot setting.

Combine dry ingredients in medium mixing bowl. Sift to mix ingredients. Add wet ingredients and stir thoroughly. Allow batter to set 5 minutes while waffle iron heats.

Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Drop batter on heated waffle iron wells. Allow at least 1/2" spacing for batter to expand. Close and cook. Allow all steam to stop coming from waffle iron. Remove crisp waffles and repeat until all batter is used.
