Ingredients

    2 teaspoons olive oil
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    4 (6-ounce) sea bass or striped bass fillets
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper












Directions

Marinade fillets in ginger, soy sauce, and 1 tsp olive oil for at least 30 minutes. Remove from marinade and pat dry. Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear fish for two minutes on each side. Add marinade and bring to boil. Transfer fish and sauce to an oven-safe dish. Cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

    Absolutley Fabulous. Very tasty and quick to cook, putting the seabass in the oven does not add anything, it can just be fried in the pan with the marinade. I will use this again - 2/28/11
