Ingredients

    760g potatoes boiled then mashed
    90g cheddar cheese grated
    1 pint (470ml) semi-skimmed milk
    530g mixed fish (haddock, cod, salmon...)
    170g squid
    100g frozen peas

Directions

Serves 6 people
Peel, boil and mash potatoes (adding a few tablespoons of milk.)
While potatoes are cooking, slowly bring the milk to the boil. Mix a tablespoon of plain flour with water then add to the milk. Take the milk off the heat and stir in half the grated cheese.
Place the fish and squid in a heat proof dish. Add 2 tbsp of milk, cover with clingfilm, pierce and microwave for approx 5-6 mins until cooked through.

Sprinkle the frozen peas over top of fish, then add cheese sauce. Spread the mashed potato over the top and sprinkle remainder of cheese on top.

Cook in medium heat oven for 20 mins.

Serve with extra veg if needed.
