Introduction

I modified this recipe to reduce the sugar content and it tastes delicious! I modified this recipe to reduce the sugar content and it tastes delicious!
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    8 cups peeled, sliced apples
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 cup white flour
    1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/3 cup butter
    1 cup old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

Place sliced apples in a 9x13 inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. May be served with Cool Whip or left plain.
Cut into 18 servings. Each serving will be approximately
115 calories.
