    2 cups sifted flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/3 cup shortening
    3/4 cup milk

Directions

mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening, add milk. On floured surface knead dough 10 times, Roll about 1/4 inch thick, cut with cookie cutter, bake in preheated 425 degree oven for about 12-15 minutes. makes approx 12 biscuits
