Introduction

i got this smoothie idea from teh smoothie girl. I don't have her book so while I have all the same ingredients she does I came up with my own measurements. Who would ever guess that this combination of ingredients would turn out so incredible. A great way to start your day. This is higher in fat but these are all fats that are great for you. Ingredients

    2 C Brandi's Homemade Coconut Water or fresh from a baby coconut
    1/2 Beet, fresh, approx 65 grams (I recommend buying several, cutting in half and freezing)
    Carrots, raw, 1 medium - I didn't peel, I just cut off the end
    Cashew Nuts, dry roasted (salt added), 1 oz (remove)
    Sun Maid, California Chopped Dates, 0.25 cup- or you can use fresh dates if you have them avaiable
    Strawberries, fresh, 250 grams (these were fresh strawberries that I froze. I don't core them)
    ice to desired thickness

Directions

combine all ingredients except strawberries. blend to roughly chop up all ingredients. add strawberries and blend. Add ice to desired thickness.
