Introduction

This is a simple and delicious way to curb your between-meal sweet cravings and get some calcium and antioxidants in the process. If you need a little more protein for the day you could add a little protein powder - just be careful not to add too much because most protein powders are high in calories. Ingredients

    1 medium banana
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries (unsweetened)
    1 cup skim milk

    * I think it's sweet enough how it is, but you could add a little honey if you prefer your smoothies sweeter.
    * You can add a little protein powder to increase the protein content as well.

Directions

Add all ingredients in the order listed to a blender and pulse until smooth. (I use a Magic Bullet with the large cup.)

This makes a large serving for one, but could easily be split into 2 servings.
