Introduction

I took the original recipe and added lighter ingredients. I loved them and I hope you do too! I took the original recipe and added lighter ingredients. I loved them and I hope you do too!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1/2 cup margarine
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup baking splenda
    1 egg white
    1 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 1/2 cup oats
    1/2 cup raisins

Directions

This makes 20 cookies. (20 servings)

-heat oven at 350 degrees
-mix margarine, splenda, and brown sugar until creamy
-mix in the egg and vanilla
-mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
-stir well until evenly blended
-mix in oats and raisins
-spoon mixture onto a greased cookie sheet
*form about 20 cookies
-bake 10-12 minutes

*for the margarine I used Fleishman's with Olive Oil

    Very Good
    These are very very yummy. The recipe was easy. I cooked them for 11 minutes and let them cool on the cookie pan for another 10 minutes. - 9/14/11
