Delicious mock baby ruth bars my mom used to make when I was little. You can add a cup of butterscotch chips to the topping if you want more authentic flavor, but not everyone likes butterscotch chips, so it is optional. Ingredients

    * *Quaker Oats 100% Natural Whole Grain oatmeal, 2 cup
    * Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal, 2 cup
    * Butter, salted, 1 cup
    * *Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, 6 tbsp
    * Light Corn Syrup, 1/3 cup
    * Brown Sugar, 1.25 cup, packed (7.8 oz.)
    * Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips, 1.5 cups
    * *Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, 8 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl. Press the sticky mixture into a greased jellyroll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until the base layer starts to bubble. Do NOT overbake! Melt chocolate chips with remaining peanut butter in the microwave for 1 minute or so, and spread/pour over top of the baked mixture. Refrigerate and slice into bars.
