Ingredients

    3/4-1 head of lettuce
    1. c. chopped celery
    3 T. chopped onion
    1 head chopped cauliflower
    1 10 oz. package frozen raw peas
    12 oz. fried bacon with all excess grease pressed out with paper towels, cut with scissors into small pieces
    3/4- 1 pint Hellman's mayonnaise (or enough to cover the salad with a thick layer of mayonnaise)

Directions

Break lettuce into bite sized pieces and place 2" deep in a large salad bowl. Add celery, onion, cauliflower, peas, and bacon (with all excess grease pressed out with clean paper towels and then cut with scissors into small pieces). Ice the salad with mayonnaise like a cake. Refrigerate overnight. Toss and mix one hour before serving.
