Ingredients
-
Top sirloin steak, trimmed to 0" fat, 14 oz (sliced against the grain into 1/4" strips)
Garlic powder, 1 tsp
Minced Garlic, 1 tbsp
Salt, 1 dash
Pepper, black, 1 dash
Extra Light Olive Oil, 1 tsp
Broccoli, frozen, 14 oz.
Sesame Oil, 2 tsp
Szechuan Spicy Stir Fry Sauce, 1/4 cup
Directions
Makes 4 servings of meat and broccoli mixture.
In a large bowl, combine the steak, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and toss until well combined.
Put a large non-stick skillet over high heat. When it is hot, add the olive oil. Carefully add the broccoli and garlic, cooking for 4 to six minutes, stirring often, until the broccoli is heated through being careful not to burn the garlic. Transfer to a large bowl and cover to keep warm.
Return the same pan to high heat and cook the steak in sesame oil half at a time until browned. Put the first batch of steak with the vegetables and keep covered. Once all of the meat has been cooked, return everything back to the pan and take it off of the heat. Add the stir fry sauce and mix well.
Serve hot over a bed of your favorite rice or Asian noodles.
