Introduction

This freezes well. You can use other cheeses if colby-jack doesn't work for you and you can switch out the salmon for canned tuna to change the taste. This freezes well. Ingredients

    15 oz can pink salmon, drained
    1 10oz bag frozen peas, thawed
    6 oz shredded colby-jack cheese (reduced fat)
    1/4 cup onion, chopped
    1/4 cup garlic, chopped
    2 T low-fat mayo
    1 8oz or 10oz can crescent rolls
    2 T cornmeal
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine salmon, peas, cheese, onion, garlic and mayo in a bowl, mix well and set aside. Press crescent rolls into 9-inch pie pan to form a crust, sprinkle with cornmeal. Add salmon mixture to pie plate. Pinch crescent rolls together to form star on top of pie.

Bake pie for 30-45 minutes, until heated through.

Serve and enjoy!
