Introduction
Sangria like broke college students in Spain drink. :)There are a million variations you can do on Sangria with different types of wine, fruits, juice, spices, liquors, etc. but this is imitates the classic recipe. Traditional Sangria uses lemon juice, sugar and seltzer water instead of lemonade, and also includes brandy and sometimes cinnamon.
If you want to cut calories even more I suggest using MinuteMaid Light Lemonade, Diet Sprite, or Diet Orange Soda instead of lemonade. I use a powdered mix because it's cheaper and a little sweeter. Sangria like broke college students in Spain drink. :)
