Introduction

Quick and easy weeknight meal. I cook on medium heat and cover pan to reduce cooking spatter and smells. For added convenience, use ready-to-eat or fully cooked chicken breast strips instead of pork. Frozen pre-cooked chicken can be heated with the veggies together at the same time, and cold pre-cooked chicken should be tossed in a few minutes after the veggies. Add a little cayenne pepper, ground ginger, garlic powder, and/or chinese five-spice mix to amp up the flavor without adding salt or calories! Reduce fat and calories by substituting just spices, light soy sauce, and 1/4 cup orange juice for the Kraft dressing.

H-E-B Green Bean Stir Fry frozen veggies has noodles, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, water chestnuts & red bell pepper.

Ingredients

    1 tbsp canola oil

1/2 lb pork for stir fry (lean trimmings cut into strips), or 1/2 lb thin cut boneless lean pork chops (breakfast style, trimmed and cut into strips at home), fresh or thawed

1 bag H-E-B Green Bean Stir-Fry frozen vegetable blend

4 tbsp Kraft Light Asian Toasted Sesame dressing & marinade

Directions

1) Heat 1 tbsp canola oil on low heat in wok, stir-fry pan, or 4 qt non-stick pot (dutch oven).

2) Carefully add fresh pork strips. Stir-fry pork for 3-5 mins on medium heat until pork is COMPLETELY cooked (no pink).

3) Add the entire bag of H-E-B Green Bean Stir-Fry and cover pan for 2 minutes. Turn/Stir and continue cooking on medium heat, covered, turning/stirring every 1-2 minutes until veggies are fully heated through.

4) Add dressing and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes longer.

5) Serve as 2 large, 3 medium, or 4 small portions. No need to serve rice! Leftovers are awesome for another day or two. Serve with light soy sauce if desired.
