Introduction
Great fall recipe - add all ingredients into slow cooker and its ready in the evening. Chicos are roasted sweet corn that has been dried, they lend a nice flavor to this recipe. Ingredients

1/2 med onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp red chili flakes or red chili powder(optional)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 slices of bacon chopped into 1/2" pieces
1/2 cup of dried Chicos (roasted, dried sweet corn)
1/2 cup of each: pinto beans, black eyed peas, red kidney beans (or any other variation of beans)
Directions
Clean and wash beans and chicos before adding to slow cooker. Add water, bacon and chili flakes or powder.
Heat oil and lightly saute' onion and garlic - take care not to brown. Add mixture to beans.
Turn on slow cooker and cook for 6 hours. Enjoy!
Addition of salt not necessary as the bacon will provide saltiness.
