Introduction

Ingredients

You can substitute fresh for canned if desired.
Directions
-Open and drain the cans of beans, tomatoes and corn, or prepare them fresh.
-Large dice the Green pepper, you can substitute any color.
-Small dice the garlic, onions, jalapeños, and mince the fresh garlic.
-Cook the ground turkey until almost no pink is visible. Drain and set to the side.
-Heat the oil in the same pan until it starts to smoke. Add garlic and stir until garlic is golden brown. Then add the jalapeños and onion and sauté until the onions become clear.
-Add the rest of the fresh vegis. Sauté until the broccoli starts to get tender.
-Stir in the drained canned food and the turkey.
-Stir in the water and the seasoning packet.
-Add salt, pepper, hot sauce, cumin, chili powder and anything else to taste.
-Turn the heat to high until it boils. Then reduce and let simmer for 30 mins stirring occasionally.
Serve with a side of tortilla chips and salsa if desired.
Makes about 8 one cup servings.
