Ingredients

    Patties

    1 lb. 96% Lean Ground Beef
    1/2 C. dry unseasoned bread crumbs
    1/2 C. Skim Milk
    1 egg white
    1/4 C. finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper

    Gravy

    2 C. fat free low sodium beef broth
    2 T. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    2 C. sliced fresh mushrooms



Directions

1. In medium bowl, combine all patty ingredients; mix gently. (Mixture will be moist.) Shape into 6 oval patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

2. Spray a large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray. Heat over medium heat until hot. Add patties; cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Remove patties from skillet. Add mushrooms to skillet; saute until tender.

3. In a small bowl, combine broth, cornstarch and thyme; blend well. Pour into the skillet with the mushrooms. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Return patties to skillet. Cover; simmer about 15 minutes or until patties are no longer pink in center.

Makes 6 servings; 1 patty and about 1/2 cup gravy.
