Introduction

This is a great quick low calorie dinner. This is a great quick low calorie dinner.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Sauce:
    * 6 tbsp Soy sauce, low sodium
    * 1 tsp Granulated Sugar
    * 5 tbsp Canola Oil
    * 1 tsp Hot Chili Oil
    * 5 tbsp Sherry, dry
    * 3 tbsp Sesame Oil
    Pasta:
    * 1 cup slices (1 can) Waterchestnuts
    * 2 cup Asparagus, fresh, Chopped
    * 1.50 cup Broccoli, fresh, chopped
    * 1 cup Peas, frozen
    * 3 cloves Garlic
    * 10-15 large Shrimp
    * 1 Box Whole Wheat Thin Spaghetti, cooked (pasta)

Directions

-Cook pasta as directed on box. After draining water, run pasta under cold water to cool them.
-Steam peas, chopped asparagus and chopped broccoli until soft. Drain and let cool.
-Clean shrimp and sauté with 1 tbsp oil and garlic until cooked through. Let shrimp cool for 2-3 minutes and cut into bite sized pieces.
-Combine Soy sauce, sugar, canola oil, hot chili oil, sherry and sesame oil into large bowl. Add peas, asparagus, broccoli, waterchestnuts, pasta and shrimp to the Soy Sauce mixture. Toss well. Serve cold. Add salt/pepper and hot pepper flakes for taste.

You can find the Hot Oil and canned waterchestnuts in the Asian section of the market. You can add more or less of any sauce ingredient to appeal to your taste.
