Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1.25 lbs. 93% lean beef
    1/25 lbs 93% lean turkey (white meat only)
    1 -15 0z can (1 ¾ cup) pinto beans
    1 cup spaghetti or winter squash (a dryer type is best)
    ¼ cup roasted red pepper
    ¼ cup finely chopped onion
    1 tsp salt
    ½ tsp. ea. Garlic & onion powder
    ½ tsp cumin
    ½ tsp. black pepper
    2 TB ground flax seed

Directions

Mix the beef and turkey together in a large bowl. Blend squash, beans, red pepper and onion in blender until smooth. Add all spices and pour into meat mixture. Add flax seed. Form into 9 patties and freeze separately on a greased cookie sheet. When fully frozen, store in plastic bags and take out as needed. Cook or grill about 3-5 minutes on each side. Great with a nice salad. Makes 9 burger patties.
