Introduction

My take on tuna casserole. I'm on a tight budget so all of the ingrediants are fairly economical, especially when you get them on sale! My take on tuna casserole. I'm on a tight budget so all of the ingrediants are fairly economical, especially when you get them on sale!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 cups Egg noodles (dry)
    2 cans Tuna, packed in water
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 cup skim milk
    1/8 cup plain bread crumbs

Directions

Preheat oven to 375*

Bring 4 cups of water to boil. Add noodles. Don't cook noodles for very long, only about 3-4 minutes. Rinse the noodles with cold water and put in casserole dish.

While noodles are boiling mix the rest of the ingrediants excluding the breadcrumbs in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and keep stirring.

Once soup mixture simmers, remove from heat and dump over the noodles in the casserole dish. Mix thouroughly.

Bake for 25 minutes covered. Remove cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
