Introduction

I'm always trying new dishes with my Crock Pot. This one was a hit! I'm always trying new dishes with my Crock Pot. This one was a hit!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 to 4 Chicken Breasts
    1 1/2 cup of dried Chick Peas (soak in water overnight)
    1 package of frozen chopped spinach
    1 Jar of Masala sauce from Trader Joe's
    1 cup chicken stock (or water)
    1 tsp Garam Masala dry spice
    1 Tbs. of Olive Oil
    1 or 2 cloves of chopped garlic
    salt and pepper

Directions

The night before - place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag with garlic, olive oil and garam masala spice, mix and store in refrigerator overnight. Place dry chick peas in water to soak overnight.
In the morning place all ingredients into crock pot (drain the water from the chick peas) and put on "low" for the day (hours depend upon your schedule). Enjoy with rice or bread. Makes 4-6 servings.
