Introduction

An excellent quick soup that can be served hot or cold. For less sodium, remove the boullion. This tasty soup can be served with croutons or rustic brown bread. Ingredients

    1 Can of Asparagus
    1 Slice of Bacon
    7 Shrimp
    Powdered Cayenne Pepper
    Powdered Black Pepper
    Chicken Broth

Directions

1. Puree Asparagus, Boullion, Broth, Pepper, Cayenne in a blender and put in a sauce pan on medium heat.
2. Sautee Bacon in a pan until slightly crisp.
3. Toss in Shrimp till pink.
4. Before it comes to a boil, put soup in bowls to serve.
5. Add Bacon and Shrimp to center of the bowl, as garnish.

Makes 8 1-cup servings.
