The stew meat was tender and tasty, and all the veggies made this version of stew very healthy. It was fun to try it on St. Patrick's Day. Thank you, VHALKYRIE! - 3/18/14

Very good. I forgot the thyme and it was still delicious, could definitely taste the beer- I used Sam Adams Boston Lager. I will be making this again. - 2/10/14

  • I must have done something wrong. Followed the directions, but mine turned out to be more of a soup than a stew. And I used Guinness Extra Stout, which made it taste VERY bitter. - 3/10/16

  • It was OK but seem like it was lacking something in the taste department. I added more onions and some garlic after it cooked for a while and I tasted it. Also added some green beans and potatoes. Probably won't make again without revisions. - 1/15/15

  • It was okay, but it definitely needs more veggies. I added potatoes to it, and next time I'll be adding green beans to it as well. It's a good starting point for stews, but overall it was just okay and needed some fine tuning to turn it into something great. - 2/18/14
