Ingredients

    4 c. sliced apples or any combination of rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches. If using other types of fruit it may be necessary to sprinkle with about 1/4 c. sugar or fruit juice or maple syrup.
    3/4 c. rolled oats
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    Ground flax seeds or chopped nuts are optional

Directions

In a large casserole that has been sprayed with Pam, arrange 4 c. sliced apples. Any combination of rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, may be used with the apples or in place of them. If using other types of fruit it may be necessary to sprinkle with about 1/4 c. sugar. Then combine 3/4 c. rolled oats, 1/3 c. flour, 1/4 c. brown sugar and 1/4 c. butter or margarine. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
