Yummy quick and easy dessert that will impress your friends and family, If you don't consider yourself a "baker", no-one will ever guess! Serve by themselves or double the sauce ingredients and serve with ice cream and drizzle the extra sauce. Ingredients

    1 Package Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls
    2 Small Apples or 1 Very Large Apple
    4 Tbl White Sugar
    2 Tbl Brown Sugar
    4 Tbl Butter (1/2 stick)
    1/4 tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 Pinch Nutmeg
    3 oz. or 1/3 Cup Mountain Dew

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Peel and slice apple(s) into 8 pieces. If using two smaller apples, quarter them. If one very large apple, cut into 8 slices. Roll the each apple slice in a crescent pastry slice, starting at the small end and tucking edges around apple slice tightly. Place in 9x9 baking ban. In pan on stovetop, melt butter and stir in sugars, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour sauce over crescent wrapped apples. Pour 1/3 Cup Mountain Dew over apple wrapped crescents. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Makes a GREAT breakfast treat too!
