Ingredients

    • 6 oz. ground italian sausauge
    • 8 oz. can tomato paste
    • 1 medium onioni
    • small can of mushrooms (can use fresh too, but calculated with canned)
    • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
    • 1 tsp dried oregano
    • 1 tsp dried marjoram
    • 1 clove garlic
    • brown sugar (I added this to the original recipe, it is included in nutrition facts)
    • 6 oz. spaghetti, broken

Directions

makes 4 servings

Cook meat, onions, and garlic until meat is brown. Drain any fat. Add everything but the pasta and bring to a boil. Then, slowly add the spaghetti and stir after each addition. Return to a boil, and keep at a slow boil, uncovered, until pasta is cooked and sauce reaches desired consistency.
