Ingredients

    3 apples - peeled & sliced
    1/4C brown sugar
    4tbl margarine
    1/4C walnuts
    1 Betty Crocker spice cake mix (prepare as directed on box but substitute applesauce for oil)

Directions

spray 9 x 13 pan
place apples in pan
sprinkle brown sugar on apples
cut margarine and dot on apples
sprinkle walnuts on apple mixture
spread prepared cake mix over apple & nut mixture

Bake 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until cooked
Makes 12 servings
