Introduction

My hubby and I wanted to have popcorn and instead of our usual dripping with butter and salt, I thought I would try something a little different. I was quite impressed with the taste along with the minimal calories! Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 cup of unpopped popcorn
    2 tablespoons of oil
    1 tsp of granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp of salt

Directions

Makes 2 cups of popcorn.
Place the oil in a large pot with a lid. Sprinkle in the salt, sugar and popcorn kernels into the oil. Let it heat on the stove with the lid on. Shaking it occasionally until the kernels start to pop. DO NOT REMOVE THE LID. Continue to shake the pot as the kernels pop. Once it slows then remove from the heat and let settle for 5 minutes. Pour into bowls and serve.
