Introduction

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
1/4 cup oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup water (milk can be substituted, add to ingredients)
1 medium egg
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 medium apple, diced
Directions
In a medium bowl, stir together flour, oats, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
Add 1 cup water (milk can be used - add to ingredients separately), egg, raisins, and apples; stir together gently until just mixed.
Heat a frying pan to medium
Portion 1/2 cup batter onto a hot, lightly oiled frying pan.
Cook until the center starts to bubble and becomes sturdy.
Flip pancake over and cook other side until golden brown.
Repeat process until the batter is gone.
Serve with maple syrup or non-sweetened jam
