Ingredients

    Two Crust:
    *Flour, All Purpose White, 2 C
    Crisco Butter Flavored 2/3 C
    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp Chilled
    Ice Water, .25 cup (4T)

    Filling:
    Best Choice Mixed Berries, 4 cup
    Quick Cooking Tapioca, 3 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup
    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Cut chilled Crisco & butter into flour until coarse. Slowly add ice water and form into ball. Divide in half and roll out to make two crusts. Line 9 inch pie pan with 1 dough. Defrost frozen berries until they just separate. In a bowl, mix melted butter with tapioca. Add sugar and salt and gently mix with berries. Let stand 10-15 minutes and add to pie pan. Add top crust and perforate. Bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees and reduce heat to 350. Bake for an additional 45 minutes or until crust is a golden brown. Makes 8 servings.
