Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3T butter
    3T Flour
    2C fat free chicken broth
    1/2 c 1% milk
    1/2c half and half (optional)
    6 oz turkey breast meat chopped
    2 c cooked long grain rice
    1/2 - 3/4 c frozen peas
    1T curry powder


Directions

Cook enough rice to make 2 c cooked rice. Melt butter in pan. Add flour and cook for 3-5 minutes stirring constantly. Whisk in broth all at once. Add milk and half and half. Cook on medium heat until sauce thickens. Add curry and salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken and peas and heat through. Serve over rice.
Serves 5 - 1 cup meals
