Introduction

Ingredients

    Solo Pecan Pie Filling - 1/3 or 1/4 can per pie crust
    One Roll-out Refrigerated Pie Crust (Pillsbury- ready made)
    1 Egg White
    Cinnamon
    Sugar or Equal
    Sliced Almonds (toasted or untoasted - found in baking section)
    Chopped Pecans
    Parchment Paper (found in the Foil Section of the store)

Directions

Spread a very thin coating of the Almond Pie Filling over entire pie crust. Cut into 16ths with pizza cutter (or pastry cutter). Sprinkle chopped pecans around the outer ring of the pie crust. Roll from wide end to narrow end. Roll all 16 and place on Parchment Paper that is on top of cookie sheet. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle Almonds over top of all cookies. Sprinkle lightly with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar - to taste. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes (until brown)

VARIATIONS -
ANY KIND OF NUTS - I just use what is in my drawer.

Place a slice of apple in each one with walnuts and the pie filling to make little apple pie bites!
