Ingredients
-
-1 Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip cookie mix
-1/2 Stick unsalted butter at room temperature or softened in microwave for about 10-15 seconds w/out the paper
-1/4 C water, room temperature
-1 large egg
-1/4 C chopped walnuts (about 30 g) like Diamond brand
-4 T or 56 g Nestle Chocolate Chips
Directions
--Cream the butter and egg and slowly mix in the water until smooth. Add the cookie mix until moistened and begins to form a dough. If it is too sticky, then put it in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up.
--In an 7 x 11 casserole dish, sprayed lightly, spread 1/2 of the mix on the bottom evenly. Sprinkle with the nuts and then the chocolate chips. Then drop even dollops of the remaining dough on top to cover.
--Cook at 275 degrees for about 15-20 minutes or until a knife in the middle comes out clean. Watch for the edges so they don't get too brown.
--Let cool before cutting.
--Makes 24 servings.
--Enjoy!!
