Introduction

Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
    1 1/4 pounds of ground turkey breast
    2 onions
    3 green peppers
    2 clove garlic
    2 Beef Bouillon cubes
    1 - 28 oz can tomato sauce
    1 - 28 oz can diced tomatoes
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    3 cups of cooked white rice

Directions

Brown ground beef and turkey. Add in onions, peppers and garlic. Cook till vegetables are about done.

Cook the white rice as usual.

Add in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef bouillon, salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add cooked white rice. Simmer another 10-15 minutes and serve.

Note: Fat and Calories per serving will be affected by the cut of ground meat used. I used the leanest cut of beef and turkey I could find. Ground chicken would also be good.

    Very Good
    We love stuffed peppers so this was a great way to mix things up. I used ground chicken and whole grain rice and since we like spicy lots of hot sauce! Very easy to make. - 10/1/07
