Introduction

I redid this recipe so that it would be the reduced fat version. I redid this recipe so that it would be the reduced fat version.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    5 C Onions, sliced
    1 T butter
    1 (8 oz) Pkg Reduced Fat Cream Cheese, thawed
    1/2 C Reduced Fat Mayo
    1/2 C Reduced Fat Sour Cream
    1/4 t Cayenne Pepper or more to taste
    salt, optional

Directions

Cook onions in butter. Add water if needed to keep moist. Stir until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
Mix remaining ingredients in bowl until smooth. Put half or more of the onions in food processor and mulch to desired consistancy. Add remaining onions to mix and stir well. Chill.
Makes approximately 12 / 1/4 c servings
