Introduction

This is the fruit cocktail my grandmother and mother served at the holidays every year. This is the fruit cocktail my grandmother and mother served at the holidays every year.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    4 oranges, peeled and sectioned
    1 can pineapple chunks in pineapple juice, no sugar added, with juice
    1 can tangerines in juice, with juice
    1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
    1/2 cup flaked coconut
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Place all fruit in large bowl including juice from canned fruit. I like to cut the orange sections from the fresh oranges in half. Add coconut and chopped pecans and lightly stir to mix.

Ambrosia can be made the day before. Store in a large glass bowl covered. Will last about a week in the refrigerator.

Serving is 1/2 cup.
