Ingredients

Milk, 1%, 2 cup
Egg, fresh, 1 large
Cinnamon, ground, 0.50 tsp
Salt, 0.50 tsp
Canola Oil, 0.25 cup
Applesauce, unsweetened, 0.33 cup
Strawberries, frozen or fresh, 2 c
Baking Powder, 2 tsp
Honey, 0.25 cup
Brown Sugar, 0.25 cup, packed
Oats, 2.50 cup
Steel Cut Oats, dry, 0.50 cup
Directions
Preheat oven to 400.
Large bowl, stir: rolled oats, steel-cut oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon. Set aside.
Medium bowl: combine egg, milk, applesauce, oil, honey, brown sugar. Add to oat mixture and stir until combined.
Pour into greased 2 quart souffle or casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, stir mixture, fold in berries. Bake uncovered for 20 additional minutes or until lightly browned. Spoon into bowls.
Optional: Serve with yogurt, pour warmed strawberry jam over the top.
