Ingredients

    5 medium apples (any variety)
    1 cup oats
    1cup oat bran
    6 tsp. sugar
    cinnamon (approx. 2 tbsp or to taste)
    unsalted butter 1/4 cup

Directions

slice apples into water and lemon mixture to prevent browning
mix oats oat bran sugar (3 tsp)
and 1 tbsp cinnamon
cut in butter to oat mixture
drain apples and mix remaining sugar and cinnamon with the apples
layer in cooking pan and add about 1 tbsp of your butter to appler mixture
take oat mixture and crumble on top of apples
bake in 350 degree oven for approx. 1 hour or until oat mixture is brown and apples are soft
serve with a dollop of whipping cream or ice cream (not included in nutritional calculation)
