Introduction

This recipe is quick and simple as well as a one pan oven dish. Goes very well with any pasta side dish. This recipe is quick and simple as well as a one pan oven dish. Goes very well with any pasta side dish.

Ingredients

    1 pkg chicken breasts
    1 can diced tomates seasoned w/ basil, garlic, and oregano
    1 cup Kraft shredded Mozzarella cheese
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt and pepper before arranging side by side on foil covered baking sheet.
Pour contents of can of tomatoes over the top of chicken breasts.
Sprinkle cheese over top of chicken and loosely cover with foil to avoid cheese sticking.
Bake for 40 min at 450 degrees.
Let stand for 15 min before serving.

Goes wonderfully with any pasta side dish and eggplant.

    I tried this tonight and I am in heaven. And, I put the cream of mushroom soup in a pan, added a little water, couple of drops of worcestershire sauce and canned diced green chiles (mild), then poured over rice and added cheese. IT IS GREAT.... Thanks for the suggestion. - 1/6/08
