Ingredients

    3/4 cup rice
    1 cup Broccoli, chopped
    .5 cup onions, chopped
    1 tsp black pepper
    3 medium slices bacon

Directions

I had my rice fixed before hand and in single serve bags to help make this a quick meal. It was just rice, water and nothing else.

Get 3 medium slices of bacon and start them cooking over medium heat. Put the frozen bag of rice in the microwave and heat for 2 minutes. As that is going, cut up broccoli into bit size morsels. Once done, cut up the onions. As soon has the rice is done. Put the broccoli in the microwave in a ziplock baggie with half the top open, this will steam the broccoli for a minute or two. Don't forget to check your bacon. Put the chopped onions in a ziplock baggie and put them into the microwave for a minute. Take the bacon out and pat it down to remove any excess fat. Tear bacon into bite size strips. Now combine everything and the pepper into a bowl and stir it up Eat and enjoy.

If you do it the way I have laid it out, the prep and cooking time together is more like 15 to 20 minutes.
