Ingredients

    1 CUP RAW TURNIP CUBED
    1/2 TSP GROUND BLACK PEPPER
    2 CUPS RAW SWEET POTATO CUBED
    1/2 TSP GROUND CINNAMON
    1/4 CUP CHICKEN BROTH (LOW SODIUM)
    1/4 TSP GROUND NUTMEG
    1/4 CUP MILK
    1 TBSP BUTTER

Directions

IN LARGE POT OF BOILING WATER, COVER AND COOK TURNIP FOR 5 MINUTES. ADD DICED SWEET POTATOES AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE TENDER. DRAIN AND RETURN TO THE STOVETOP AND ALLOW THE WATER TO EVAPORATE.

IN A FOOD PROCESSOR, ADD THE VEGETABLES, CHICKEN STOCK AND MILK AND PUREE UNTIL DESIRED CONSISTENCY. TRANSFER TO A BOWL AND ADD CINNAMON, NUTMEG, GROUND PEPPER AND BUTTER.
