Ingredients

14 oz. uncooked chicken breast, chopped or diced
4 whole wheat pitas (6" diameter)
1 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 cup tzatziki sauce*
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (10.75 oz.) can tomato puree
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. ground black pepper
4 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
Directions
1. Create Turkish marinara by mixing olive oil, garlic, onion, and tomato puree. Season with the cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
2. Add chopped chicken, toss, and marinade in sauce overnight.
3. Bake marinated chicken at 350 F for about 25-28 min, or until chicken is cooked to internal temperature of 170 F.
5. While chicken is cooking, arrange pita on baking sheet and lightly toast for about 6-8 minutes at 350 F.
6. Baste pitas with melted butter.
7. Top pitas with chicken mixture when done.
8. Drizzle 1/4 cup cold yogurt tzatziki mixture over each chicken pita.
9. Garnish each with 1 tbsp. fresh parsley and fold in half to serve.
