6-Thomas Whole Wheat English Muffins
1 cup Ragu Light Tomato & Basil sauce
1 Portabella Mushroom Cap
1 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning
0.5 tsp Fennel Seed
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese-part skim
1 svg. Minced onion
4 oz. Extra Lean Ground Beef
2 svgs (approx. 34) Armour Turkey Pepperoni (Hormel has more fat, calories, and sodium. So, the brand matters.)
Directions
1. Warm sauce in pan adding all herbs (Italian seasoning and fennel)
2. Cook ground beef with onions. Once cooked through half way, add chopped mushrooms. Once done, drain any grease from pan.
3. Slice English muffins in half. Top with sauce then pepperoni, ground beef & mushroom mixture, and cheese.
4. Cook in oven for approximately 10-15 minutes on 400 degrees.
