    1-8oz package fat free cream cheese
    2 tablespoons I can't believe it's not butter light
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup powdered sugar


cream together the cream cheese and "butter" and vanilla. Add in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
Excellent with my pumpkin spice cake recipe!

  • I can't wait to try this recipe. I make a cream cheese icing now for cinnamon rolls that is to die for, but I'm glad to see a healthier option. I'm going to try adding 1/2-1 teaspoon of maple extract. I do this to my current recipe and it takes like maple syrup! - 2/2/11

  • I made this this evening using only half the cream cheese, and I eye balled the powdered sugar. Probably no more than 1/4 of a cup... and I didn't add the butter, and it tasted EXACTLY like the frosting you get at a bakery... sooo yummy! - 2/7/10
