Introduction

Seasoned chuck roast with vegetables. Seasoned chuck roast with vegetables.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Chuck roast--desired size
    1 pkg. Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix
    4 cups water
    1 can beef broth
    2 tbsp Worcester sauce
    Garlic powder--as desired
    1/2 tsp Thyme
    Red potatoes--peeled and chunked
    Baby carrots

Directions

1) Pour 1 cup water into crockpot; turn on on LOW.
2) Place chuck roast in crockpot.
3) Peel and chunk potatoes and place them and carrots in crockpot.
4) Pour can of beef broth over roast and veggies.
5) Measure 3 cups water in measuring cup; mix in soup mix, Worcester sauce, garlic powder, and thyme. Pour over roast and veggies.
6) Cook on LOW for 8-10 hours; the longer it's cooked the more tender it will be.
