Ingredients

    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia) *Hillshire Farm Turkey Smoked Sausage, 14 oz
    one medium onion, diced
    2 cups diced potatoes, with skins
    Evaporated Fat Free Milk, 1.5 cup

Directions

Chop the cabbage into 1 or 2 inch pieces. Put cabbage, diced onion, and diced potatoes in a stockpot. Add water to just barely cover. (optional: add a dried bay leaf and some dried parsley for flavor). Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until tender. Add sliced turkey sausage. Add more water to cover and to make it soup consistency. When soup is heated through, add condensed milk. Serve with lots of black pepper. Serves 6.
