Introduction

Something this decadent shouldn;t really be on a diet site but i made it so i had to create the recipe! Something this decadent shouldn;t really be on a diet site but i made it so i had to create the recipe!

Ingredients

    1000 Kg potatoes - waxy ones are best
    1 medium onion
    4 cloves of garlic
    75 grams of cheddar cheese
    200 ml single cream
    100 ml semi skimmed milk
    1 tsp djion mustard
    Salt & pepper to season

Directions

Peeal & thinly slice the potatoes
Chop the garlic & onion
Mix the milk and cream together with a teaspoon of mustard and salt & pepper to season.
Chop the cheese into small chunks (doesn't matter hoiw small it is going to melt anyway).
Place a layer of the potatoes in a baking dish.
Place a layer of garlic, onions and cheese
Place another layer of potatoes and continue until you get to the top of the dish.
Press down with your hands before pouring over the milk/cream mixture
Bake for an hour on gas mark 6.
