    2 tsp (10 mL) oil
    1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) salt
    1 tsp (5 mL) red pepper flakes
    1 can (19 oz/540 mL) chickpeas rinsed and drained
    1 tsp (5 mL) ground cumin


Combine oil, red pepper flakes, cumin and salt in a bowl. Add chickpeas and toss until coated. Spread chickpea
mixture in a parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 425F (220C), stirring occasionally, for 45 - 50
minutes or until chickpeas are crunchy; cool. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze
for up to 1 month. Makes about 1 1/2 cups (375 mL).
