Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup lentils
    1/6 cup pearl barley
    1/2 cup carrots chopped
    1/2 cup celery chopped
    1/2 cup onion chopped
    4 ripe roma tomatoes chopped and raw
    2 tsp Italian Seasoning
    1 clove garlic or 1.5 tsp minced garlic 1/2 bay leaf
    2 cups broth
    1 cup water

Directions

What I used for broth was to take a skinless boneless chicken breast and boil it in water with a little (1/3 tsp) perfect pinch salt free garlic and herb spice. the liquid was then used for the soup.
Mix all ingrediants together, except vinegar, and place into crock pot on low for 12 - 14 hours
Add vinegar just before serving..

Serving Size: makes 6 one cup servings
